When it comes to mixing prints, I think we can all agree Roberto Cavalli and Just Cavalli are the masters, and the Spring 2015 Ready-to-Wear Collection presented at Milan Fashion Week was only further proof of that. They mix loud prints like it’s their business, and I guess it sort of us. The business of print heavy and loose breathy designs that will make you drool, literally.
Just Cavalli is all about the print each season, and for Spring 2015 red, greens and blues are the focus – with the occasional accent of leopard and leather. How so many things work together as once and somehow come off as mello is BEYOND me. But, I certainly do appreciate it! The Cavalli girl will be primed and ready to go for festival season next year, complete with star-framed sunglasses and metallic gold sandals. Then, on Monday morning she can pop on a tailored jacket and no one will know all the wild find she had that weekend.
It’s genius really, this urban mix of retro and modern.
