The PFW Fall 2020 schedule might be missing a few key names (i.e. Saint Laurent and Celine), but for the most part it is business as usual in the fashion capital of the world. 

As we’ve seen throughout fashion month, Paris Fashion Week will look undeniably different these season. The PFW Fall 2020 schedule includes mostly digital events with handful of in-person events sprinkled in. Among those staging traditional runway shows in the days ahead? Dior, Louis Vuitton and Chanel.

While there are no doubt those who oppose such in-person events at the moment, it was encouraging to see Fendi and Valentino successfully execute socially distanced events in Milan. Those events were operating at about 10 percent the capacity we’re used to see at major fashion shows and it’s likely that will continue in Paris for the foreseeable future.

The scaled back Paris Fashion Week simply won’t feel the same. Nonetheless, it’s wonderful to see the French houses look towards the future and unveil Spring/Summer 2021 collections during an especially difficult time.
