From Paul Andrew’s sci-fi Salavatore Ferragamo to Jeremy Scott’s playfulness at Moschino, meet the best MFW looks of the Fall 2021 season.
Ciao, fashionistas!! Now that the month-long digital fashion week festivities have come to a close – it’s time to sit back and reflect on the great styles that are on their way to us for fall. Both New York City and London offered an array of looks for the upcoming season before Milan took center stage with all its lavish drama.
LET’S TALK THE BEST MFW LOOKS
It’s customary for the fall/winter collections to feature a great selection of outerwear and Milan did not hold back! Among the best MFW looks are a variety of coats from greats like Max Mara to Prada — all going bold on color.
As we saw in NYFW and LFW, it’s clear that designers are ready to shake off the pandemic and are really pulling out the razzle dazzle in hopes life will be more lively in Fall 2021. Alberta Ferretti took to the runway with glitzy gowns and party pants — a genre I hope to see a lot more of as we emerge from the pandemic.
For now, the fashion shows are still operating sans guests but that didn’t hold back a jam-packed schedule. Designers proved they are getting the hang of this digital format, executing editorial style video shows like at Salvatore Ferragamo and traditional shows is venues across Milan with no audience. And the drama we all LOVE about Italian fashion was there. Oh yes was it ever where.
Enjoy a feast of the best MFW looks from this season’s runways below! And let’s all keep our fingers crossed that these clothes are able to be worn somewhere other than the supermarket. We are ready to party!
Fair warning, I REALLY enjoyed Alberta Ferretti this season. So much so that she appears on my list of best MFW looks this season three times! To start, here’s an exquisite overcoat.
Well, this is delicious!

It would be impossible for a timeless shimmery gold gown such as this NOT to land on a list of this season’s best MFW looks. How glamorous!
We can always count on Jeremy Scott to bring the kitschy fun to fashion week and for his FW 2021 collection, he went all in on farmer girl style in the most chic way possible!
Philosophy by Lorenzo Serafini
Lorenzo Serafini’s collegiate Fall 2021 collection for Philosophy pays homage to missed in-person academic experiences students have faced during the pandemic. This was a central theme that played throughout the collection in a number of ways, including outstanding mixed print dresses such as this one!

Paul Andrew basically directed a sci-fi flick for unveiling his Salvatore Ferragamo collection. Quite the backdrop for some of the best MFW looks, certainly! The collection as a whole was fantastic but goodness is this coat amazing or what?
