Lancome’s Teint Idole foundation is an absolute must-have in my makeup collection.
At this point, I’ve entirely lost count of how many bottles I’ve gone through of the powerhouse, impossibly lightweight product that covers imperfections like a dream. So naturally, when news came that Lancome was expanding the Teint Idole line to include the an All Over concealer – I had to snatch one up on the day of its release.
LANCOME TEINT IDOLE ULTRA WEAR CONCEALER
Lancome’s original Teint Idole Ultra Wear Camouflage concealer has been around for years and is another staple in my makeup collection. Its full-coverage is essentially bullet-proof and makes blemishes and dark spots completely disappear. Its heaviness makes it more appropriately used as a spot treatment, however, meaning I’ve always paired it with a lighter concealer for everyday use.
Let’s discuss Lancome’s new All Over concealer in more detail below, including before and actions of the product in action!
20 SHADES AVAILABLE
The Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear All Over concealer is currently available in twenty shades with mixed cool, neutral and warm undertones. While decent, this is considerably less than the expansive 50 shades available in the Teint Idole foundation.
To help customers find their best shade, the Lancome team created a useful chart that maps out the best color match of concealer for the specific shades of the foundation. Hopefully over time Lancome will expand the All Over concealer range to include a perfect match for each shade of the foundation. That would be the dream!!
MEDIUM, BUILDABLE COVERAGE
Excuse me while I embarrass myself by showing the most pesky dark spots that annoy me immensely! In the above photos, you can see that the new Lancome Teint Idole All Over concealer does a nice job covering imperfections – but it isn’t full-coverage. When applied to the dark spots on my cheekbone, their appearance is greatly improved but they still manage to shine through.
This is where the Camouflage concealer is great to have on hand as its intense full-coverage tackles stubborn dark spots and even covers tattoos!
The good news is the All Over concealer does have a super lightweight and buildable formula that you can add extra coverage in problem areas as needed.
LONG-LASTING MATTE FINISH
I don’t know about everyone else but in my book? I prefer to touch up my makeup as little as possible. This passive approach makes the Lancome All Over concealer an asset in a daily makeup routine.
The concealer sets into a beautiful, natura matte finish that I top off with some setting powder. From there – I enjoy lasting coverage throughout the day with no touch ups.
DOME FOOT APPLICATOR
Lancome designed a pointed dome foot applicator for the Teint Idole All Over concealer that is fantastic for targeting the contours of your face — including the under eye area.
LIGHTWEIGHT, CREASELESS FORMULA
The light and creamy consistency of the All Over concealer blends nicely into the skin. Throughout my testing, I kept a close eye on any potential creasing to spring up but I’m happy to report it won’t exaggerate any fine lines or pores.
GREAT FOR ALL AGES
The All Over Concealer’s ability to apply smoothly over fine lines and wrinkles without any issues with creasing makes it a great choices for women of all ages. It’s an excellent option for both youthful and mature skin!

OVERALL GRADE: A-
I’m beyond happy with the results of the Lancome All Over concealer! It’s the perfect addition to the Teint Idole line as well as my daily makeup routine.
Having loved the Teint Idole foundation and Camoflage concealer for years, I’m happy they added a concealer with lightweight consistency that can be applied all over the face without any creasing. It’s a product I’ve also found myself repeatedly reaching for on days when I want to skip foundation altogether.
My main criticism does tie back to the shade range. It’s confusing to me why they didn’t offer a large selection that better matches up to the foundation but hopefully we’ll see more shades arrive on the market.
My biggest criticism is the shade range being limited to 20 shades. Hopefully Lancome will continue to add more and more shades as the concealer excels on the market.
