The Lancome Renergie Lift foundation hit the market in January offering big claims! Does it live up to the hype?

Who doesn’t love a follow-up to a good product? I know I sure do! And as a longtime fan of the Lancome Renergie Lift moisturizer I was all in on giving the new foundation a try. After all, the older that I get the more important it is to me to apply things to my face that deliver hydration!
As the saying goes, we’re not getting any younger..
The Lancome Renergie Lift Foundation
Being a big fan of the Lancome foundations already, it was pretty much a no brainer that I’d be cozying up to put their latest release to the test. The Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear foundation is one of those holy grail products I will purchase again and again. While I don’t use it nearly as much, I’m also a big believer in the Teint Miracle foundation. That’s actually the first foundation from Lancome I ever tried and we got along very well!
The Lancome Renergie Lift foundation comes into play, promising to deliver an instant lift to the skin and all-day hydration.
What They Say:
- Lifts slackening skin and blurs lines and wrinkles for up to 12 hours
- Lightweight and provides all-day moisture
- Fights dullness and awakens your complexion with an instant glow-boosting effect
- Moderate to full coverage
As always, I put all of these claims to the test and have been using the Renergie Lift foundation for several weeks now. For a full report on how well it performs, read below!

Coverage: Medium
Lancome states that the foundation is medium to full coverage, but I felt the coverage is a bit to sheer to earn that title. That said, it does deliver a significant amount of coverage – much more than a tinted moisturizer – and has the power to even out your skintone as well as nicely cover up any blemishes. All that said, your real skin will still shine through!
Cream Texture That’s Lightweight
The foundation itself has a very similar texture and consistency to the Teint Idole foundation. It’s a creamy liquid that is best applied with a blending brush or beauty sponge. As I applied to the skin, I was immediately impressed without lightweight the foundation is from the get go. Its virtually undetectable on the skin and maintains that lightness throughout the day.
Finish: Radiant, Semi-Dewy
I don’t want to classify the Lancome Renergie Lift foundation as a “dewy” foundation altogether because that would be stretching it a bit, but it does have a slight dewiness…especially when compared to the Teint Idole foundation (which is much more matte).
The foundation does have a nice ability to reflect light and bring an instant radiance to your complexion. This was especially appreciated on those days where I was running on very little sleep but wanted to look “fresh” in the morning.
Long Weartime
Probably the biggest selling point across the board when it comes to Lancome foundations is how well they wear throughout the day. Well, the Renergie Lift foundation fits the bill and delivers that ultra long wear-time we’ve come to love from Lancome without need to worry about constantly touching up your face.
I’m also happy to say that the lightweight feel of the foundation also continues throughout the day. I apply this in the morning before work, wear all day without and fuss and forget it’s even there until I wash my face before bedtime.
Shade Range: 25 Shades with Varying Undertones
Lancome continues to serve a large group of women with the Renergie Lift foundation, offering 25 shades with varying undertones. There’s warm, neutral and cool shades to help you find the perfect match to your complexion.
I’m wearing the shade 260 Bisque (Neutral) below:
Natural Appearance with A Glow
As you can probably see above, the Lancome Renergie Lift foundation provides coverage but still very much appears like your skin when worn. My freckles do shine through but the foundation evens out my skintone while providing a radiant boost.
Blurring and Lifting
A couple things all of us ladies are after is a product that has the ability to blur over pores, smooth out fine lines and provide a boost to skin that has a sagging appearance. I’m happy to say that the Lancome Renergie Lift foundation ticked all of those boxes for me. I’m always so paranoid about my smile lines and and I love the way the foundation smooths everything over while still very much looking like ME!

Overall Grade: A
Alrighty, we have (yet another) Lancome winner!! When I picked this foundation up, I figured it would be nice but honestly didn’t expect to fall in love with it as hard as I have. Especially during these winter months, I love the way it adds a natural boost of glow to the skin making it look as though you’re returning from a refreshing trip at the spa. It’s essentially a perfect skin day in a bottle and who doesn’t want that?
I also really appreciate the the foundation is fragrance-free and includes a variety of ingredients like Vitamin E to help nourish and protect the skin while wearing. In my book, we can never care for our skin enough and to find makeup that has those added benefits is a big win. Well done, Lancome!!
