Preparing for the new season with a closer look at the Rebecca Taylor Spring 2021 collection.

Last March, the whole world changed. We switched from gallivanting around town in pretty dresses to lounging on our sofas in joggers — which is essentially just a nicer word than sweatpants. This year? Things are looking a bit more hopeful and signs of spring are already popping up!
Surely I’m not the only one who raced outside to embrace the sunshine and sixty degree temperatures last week. Did they last forever? No. But as the days inch closer and closer to spring’s official arrival on March 20, I’m eagerly planning what I’ll be wearing in the new season!
A Look at Rebecca Taylor Spring 2021 Styles
When I popped onto Rebecca Taylor’s site this week, I instantly went to the new arrivals section to peruse what styles were coming our way for spring.
Much like the world around us, it’s an evolving era over at Rebecca Taylor. The namesake designer stepped down in November 2019 – creating an opening for a new creative director. In January 2021, Steven Cateron was tapped to take the reins and the Spring 2020 styles were the first to arrive under his leadership.
Cateron previously worked 12 years at Club Monaco and was eager to lead the brand forward. But — then the world went on hold. Now, one year later, we’re at a place where there’s hope for emerging from this pandemic and stepping outside our homes even just a little bit more.
With all this change, I was excited to see where Steven Cateron went for the Rebecca Taylor Spring 2021 collection and after reviewing everything — I’m happy to report the bones of a brand that has always championed effortless femininity are still going strong. Let’s dive into the newest styles!
Cozy Lightweight Knits
From a long-line belted cardigan with a scalloped trim to an everyday cashmere cardigan, the Rebecca Taylor Spring 2021 collection has a nice variation of lightweight knits for the spring temps.
Classic Blouses
A classic blouse is a wardrobe staple we all need and the Rebecca Taylor Spring 2021 collection features an array of basics to carry you through seasons to come. From a crisp cotton with a statement collar to organza and even ruffled leather – there’s something for every occasion and personal taste.
Flowers for Spring? Groundbreaking
At the risk of annoying Miranda Priestly, the Rebecca Taylor Spring 2021 collection of course features a few floral prints. Don’t worry, though Miranda – really. Steven Cateron kept things reined in.
Monochrome Dresses
I always love the ease of Rebecca Taylor’s femininity and that definitely transcends through these season’s dresses. From smooth ivory and blush tones to bold red and classic black, there are timeless styles for everyone.
For Your Lower Half
Surprise, surprise! A spring collection that features zero skirts. Instead? Crisp lightweight shorts and cropped flare trousers that are impeccably chic.
What are you most looking forward to wearing this spring?
