From Gabriela Hearst’s Chloe debut to Dries Van Noten and Givenchy, the PFW Fall 2021 schedule is packed with must-see fashion moments!
Well, fashionistas! Fashion month is heading into its grand finale with Paris Fashion Week taking center stage. And while I have my fingers and toes crossed this will be our last fully digital fashion month, there’s no arguing that it has actually been a pretty fantastic time for fashion.
After New York, London and Milan — hopes are high for the PFW Fall 2021 schedule to deliver great things!
WHAT TO EXPECT:
A variance of editorial style videos as well as runway shows themselves – minus the guests of course. Each designer has their own preferred way of bringing their latest designs to life in this socially distanced format.
WHERE TO WATCH THE SHOWS:
Designers will debut their Fall 2021 collections both on their social media platforms (most commonly Instagram) as well as on their website. Vogue Runway will also be routinely updated with images from the latest presentations. Be sure to follow DreaminLace on Instagram as well for daily highlights! I’ve been having a bit of fun with the reels and would love to have you follow along!
KEY SHOWS TO LOOKOUT FOR:
CHLOE: Following Natacha Levi-Ramsay’s resignation last fall, Gabriela Hearst was appointed creative director for this next chapter at Chloe. On March 3, her debut collection is scheduled to appear in a digital presentation and Chloe girl eyes around the globe will be watching!
GIVENCHY: Givenchy newest creative director Matthew Williams continues to settle into the iconic house and is set to unveil is first fall/winter collection for the brand on Sunday, March 7. His designs have been spotted around the circles of A-list celebrities and it will be interesting to see if he ventures further into eveningwear for this latest collection.
MORE GREAT OUTERWEAR: How’s this for a life motto: you can never have enough coats! And Paris Fashion Week is sure to deliver luxurious outerwear pieces we’ll all be lusting over.
AWARD SEASON OPTIONS: Award season has understandably lost a fair bit of its luster with many of the major film releases being pushed back by the pandemic. Nonetheless, the smaller pool of options isn’t getting in the way of Hollywood forging ahead with a modified schedule! The Academy Awards are scheduled for April 25th and stylists everywhere will be watching Paris Fashion Week for major gowns.
