Did you hear it? The sound of fashionistas around the globe collectively sighing in awe when the Chloe Spring 2021 collection made its debut during a rather historic Paris Fashion Week in October? Not only was the signature cool factor of the Chloe girl on full display, she was bolstering words of HOPE on her apparel and rocking some impeccably chic sandals that are sure to fly off the shelves come March.

Since everything flipped upside down in 2020, the fact that a runway show even happened for Chloe is a triumph. But for the Chloe Spring 2021 collection, creative director Natacha Ramsay-Levi proved she in no way hung up her hat during lockdown. No, that wouldn’t be the Chloe girl way and after three years at the reins, Natacha tackled the global challenges we faced in 2021 head on during her final collection for the iconic fashion house.

A Chloe Girl Taking Action

The differences between Chloe’s S/S 2020 and 2021 collections are clear. The Chloe girl has been through an evolution in 2020 – as we all did.

Her tailored pinstripe blazers suited for life at the office were replaced with a much more relaxed streetwear aesthetic. Natacha softened the silhouettes and the fit for this new era. She also brought in statement-making pieces, including a white shirtdress lined with “Hope”, new bags and t-shirts declaring “get with the action” and a sweater that poses the question “Do you think I can you handle this?” in a cheeky, but endearing, manner.

While the Chloe Spring 2021 collection acknowledges that life has changed, it also embraces the fact that life has and will continue. Natacha Ramsay-Levi presents a path forward that’s hopeful, colorful and perfectly captures the spirit of the house.

She also introduces a selection of footwear that has already skyrocketed to the top of must-have lists for spring!
