With Governor Cuomo’s approval, the modified NYFW Fall 2020 schedule is officially a go!
A bit of great news for you: with Governor Cuomo’s approval, New York Fashion Week is on!
After a lot of speculation and questions on how fashion week could take place during the global pandemic, the CFDA has released a modified NYFW Fall 2020 schedule with mixed virtual and small in-person events. Yes, things will look quite different than they have in the past and yes there will be significantly fewer guests than normal. But, the event’s continuation is a mark of tremendous progress in NYC and an encouraging sign for the future!
The modified NYFW Fall 2020 schedule is scaled back from its traditional full week of festivities to four days of largely digital events. Things begin Sunday, September 13 with Jason Wu and will conclude September 16 with Tom Ford. While we’ll definitely miss mainstay designers like Marc Jacobs and Prabal Gurung who have opted out this season, it’s wonderful to see the event take place in a modified fashion.
Preview the official NYFW Fall 2020 schedule below. And stay tuned! DreaminLace will be covering the event across social media as well as right here on DreaminLace.com.
