39 reasons to love the firecracker Schiaparelli Fall 2017 Couture collection. (As if you’ll need that many!)

And the award for Best Show at Couture Week Fall 2017 edition goes to….SCHIAPARELLI!

Couture Week is a biannual tradition and much to my sartorial delight, Schiaparelli kicked off a busy schedule of haute couture on a very high note. And, no other was able to hit quite as perfect a high pitch thereafter.

Truly, the Schiaparelli Fall 2017 Couture collection was a firecracker that ignited a spark none other could match during fashion’s big week in Paris. It was an overflowing feast for your eyes, like a sensory joy ride. The collection is filled with so much zip, I dare say – it’s a collection we’ll be revisiting again and again over the coming months as the starlets are sure to flock to it like candy. Rightfully so. 

I’m actually glad I didn’t get my manicured hands on the kit until after the curtain fell on the last couture show Wednesday, because I can honestly and adequately declare that Schiaparelli did for Fall 2017 couture what no one else did this season. They had fun. Fun! Real, 100%, all-in on color and frill fun. 

Schiaparelli Fall 2017 Couture: Shocking Society

With 36 sweeping looks, Creative Director Bertrand Guyon set out to ‘shock society’ for the Schiaparelli Fall 2017 Couture collection. True to Schiaparelli form, color was a focal point with a vibrant parade of shift dresses, flowing gowns and dramatic capes marched down the runway. 

Per usual, Guyon designed with Dame Elsa Schiaparelli in mind – re-imagining the revolving circle of women in her orbit. Channeling their exuberance, he designed flowing silhouettes with crisp accents. The collection also revisits the much beloved graphic moments of Spring 2017’s couture, with hearts and lobsters emblazoned across the bodice like signature Girl Scout badges for only the truest romantics.

As promised in the title, I’m here to hand deliver 39 incredibly lust-worthy reasons to fall in love with the Schiaparelli Fall 2017 couture collection.

This collection is so out of this world, there was simply NO WAY I could consolidate my favorite looks into a concise list of 10 or so favorites. Hence, I’m upping the ante and creating a gallery for your browsing pleasure. (You’re welcome!)
