Considering the runways are at buzz with sportswear, it feels only fitting to pay close attention the Tommy Hilfiger Spring 2015 Collection…because Tommy Hilfiger has been putting the sport in women’s wear since day 1. For Spring 2015, the fashion house created an edgy (and bohemian) marching band, complete with deep burgundies, metallic booties, button details…with scarves trailing behind.
It’s great to see that Tommy Hilfiger is still rocking it. To be quite honest, they’ve sort of been back-burnered in my mind when it comes to designer fashion, but they prove to be very much still relevant and very much a great fit for the young, cool girl who is not afraid to get in a bit of trouble. Note the cheek tattoos and smokey eyes, not to mention a bad girl pout.
The collection also features a rather cool range of shirt dresses, modeled after classic rock t-shirts. They’re the Guns and Roses alternative to Tom Ford’s sequined jerseys of last season.
Isn’t it great to see that the Tommy Girl of the nineties is still alive and kicking? I’m actually wanting to peruse the Tommy section of my nearest department store to see what they have up their sleeve for fall. One thing I’ll forever love about fashion, is the way designers reinvent themselves and redefine their image. I’m happy to see the red-white-and-blue palette retired in favor of these cooler party looks.
What about you? Have you too been reminded that Tommy Hilfiger is actually really cool, still?

I’m like you and had kind of pushed Tommy to the fashion back burner the past few years. I LOVED this collection, and it made me want to see their new fall pieces!

Exactly. This collection was so great it inspired me to look at their fall collection and I did order a sweater. Totally looking forward to those band jackets! xoxo
