Oscar de la Renta always puts on a good show for spring, but his Spring 2015 Collection at New York Fashion Week is completely on another level of gorgeous. The Gingham trend we’ve been spying on the NYFW runways made another appearance, solidifying its place as a legitimate trend for spring. But along with it, were classic and gorgeous monochrome looks, as well as the signature florals we’ve come to know so well from ODLR.
In a nutshell, everything was so spot on gorgeous it took a minute to comprehend. And of course, like all great Spring 2015 Collections – I’m left longing for the start of spring, (even though it’s still technically summer). It’s like, if I had to bring The Secret Garden to life on the runway, it would absolutely look something like this.
Oh, and speaking of random ideal things, I found my wedding dress. Not entirely sure I want to get married, but you know – if ever the occasion arrive, I’ve got a very expensive dressed picked out.
I mean, is this real life? Do these pieces of clothing ACTUALLY exist? Because they seem far too gorgeous to even be real. Everything is so soft and elegant! And the lime green at the end, phenom. (As is Karlie Kloss, who basically I hope closes the de la Renta shows from now until the end of time.)
Let’s all just take a second to bow down to the effortless genius at work, because it simply cannot go unrecognized. In fact, I really wanted to get this post up yesterday – but was simply too fried at the end to even form a sentence. Definitely one of the top 5 of the Spring 2015 Collections at NYFW.
And what do YOU say? Is Oscar de la Renta Spring 2015 as amazing to you as it is for me? Let me know!! And when you’re done with that, browse the Fashion Week Directory for more great looks from the spring runways!
