From some exciting new arrivals to seasoned favorites, the NYFW Fall 2021 schedule includes five jam-packed days of fashion you can enjoy from the comfort of your home.
Fashionistas, rejoice! Because this year for Valentine’s Day you’re getting New York Fashion Week — which kicks off Sunday, February 14th in the Big Apple!
While we all hoped the NYFW Fall 2021 schedule would be a return to normal, the pandemic continues and presentations will be mostly virtual with very limited in-person events. Nonetheless, the schedule is jam-packed with festivities everyday that you can enjoy from the comfort of your home!
WHAT TO EXPECT:
A variance of editorial style videos as well as runway shows themselves – minus the guests of course. Each designer has their own preferred way of bringing their latest designs to life in this modern format.
WHERE TO WATCH THE SHOWS:
Designers will debut their Fall 2021 collections both on their social media platforms (most commonly Instagram) as well as on their website. Vogue Runway will also be routinely updated with images from the latest presentations.
KEY SHOWS TO LOOKOUT FOR:
JONATHAN SIMKHAI: While Jonathan Simkhai did participate in NYFW last fall, it was to represent his Fall 2020 collection. This season, he’s scheduled to debut new designs and I can’t wait to see what he has up his sleeve!
PRABAL GURUNG: After skipping the Spring 2021 season, Prabal Gurung is making his return to the NYFW schedule on Valentine’s Day!
AWARD SEASON OPTIONS: Like most everything, award season will be different this year than it has been in the past. Nonetheless, the latest collections are SURE to be a part of it! I have my eyes set on Prabal Gurung, Rodarte, Tom Ford and Naeem Khan for some fantastic eveningwear gowns to emerge.
