Well. While no one was looking, sandal season has officially arrived!
And if I’m being honest, sandals are among my favorite things ever invented. They make me immediately excited for the warm weather. And like shirt dresses, they’re both super comfortable and versatile. You can dress a pair of sandals up – same as you can dress them down. They’re a true footwear gem!!
Affordable Sandals Under $50
Whilst lounging around at home, I’ve been known to do a little bit of online shopping. And while I’ve scaled back quite a bit on what clothes I’ve been buying lately (for lack of places to wear them), I do know without a doubt I’ll always have a need for a good pair of sandals.
In my recent shopping endeavors, I picked up two pairs of super affordable sandals under $50 from Nordstrom.
- Caslon Delila Sandals ($36): I love the contrast of these. (In Black and Rose Gold)
- Steve Madden Roma Sandal ($36): Strappy basic flats that go with everything. (In White, Black or Leopard)
Probably one of the best things about sandals in general to me is how incredibly comfortable they are. Not to mention, there are only about a zillion different styles to choose from – which makes for a lot of fun. Last summer I was all about block heals and metallics. This summer? I’m gravitating more towards classic flats that are quite strappy!
As we inch closer and closer to the official start of summer, I know my sandal shopping will continue. Every year I like to pick up a new classic tan sandal. I’m also quite keen on yellow at the moment! And while it’s not possible to say what Summer 2020 will look like in terms of travel, I know sandals will still be a staple in my everyday attire no matter what.
Budget-Friendly Sandals
While adding to your shoe collection is always fun – I think we can all agree it can get quite pricey. And so I have to say, it’s really refreshing to see so many affordable sandals under $50 that are currently out there.
As retailers work to stay afloat, it’s actually a great time for shoe shopping. Many stores are offering end-of-summer prices before the season has even begun! It’s quite remarkable and certainly helps as we all budget our way through summer.
