8 inspiring podcasts you should subscribe to immediately.
When I sat down at my desk this morning I was befuddled. Oh sure, that happens time and again on a Monday morning but given the surreal circumstances we live in right now due to the coronavirus, I felt especially foggy. Events have canceled, businesses have closed and primary elections postponed. No one knows how long this will last and we’re essentially flying blind.
These are crazy times and if the experts are right, they’re going to stay crazy for a while. We’re isolating ourselves in hopes minimizing the spread of the virus and a lot of work projects have been put on hold. And yet, the sun still rises. Time still passes and and days tick by. The world may feel at a stand still but it’s not. Life still goes on and we have to as well.
8 Inspiring Podcasts to Subscribe to Now
Whenever I feel stalled, I immediately turn to my iPhone. I subscribe to a number of inspiring podcasts and they always manage to spark something in me when life and my level of inspiration feel flat.
And so today, I wanted to share a post that’s been on my to-do list for admittedly too long: my favorite inspiring podcasts of the moment. While everyone’s circumstances are different, I feel we can all appreciate some good food for thought now and then and that’s precisely what these podcasts have to offer.
Be it the in-your-face motivation Gary Vaynerchuk delivers on a daily basis (the guy does not beat around the bush) to more the subdued conversations about relationships and self-care of Amelia Liana in her new ‘What I Know Now’ podcast, it’s a broad landscape out there with something for everyone.
The Daily Vee Gary Vaynerchuk
I’ve been listening to Gary’s daily podcast on and off for a few years now. Whenever I need a kick of motivation, he’s my #1 go-to because he does not mince words and always gets straight to the point. And unlike many podcasts out there, he’s not trying to sell us anything. His advice in marketing and business is sincere and people can take it or leave it. He has his own thriving company and has doubled down on the concept that if he provides free value to the world, it will return to him in other ways.
So, if you’re on the hunt for solid advice and don’t want to cough up a lot of cash for sophisticated online e-courses or seminars, he’s your guy. Episodes come out daily. Some are recordings of his motivational speaking engagements, some are interviews with business owners, some cover trends in social media, etc. The one thing you can count on from Gary Vaynerchuk is that he’ll share something of value with you during every episode at no charge — and that’s why The Daily Vee is one of the most inspiring podcasts you can subscribe to.
The Estee Lalonde Show
I first discovered Estee Lalonde during the rise of beauty gurus on YouTube. She talked a lot about new makeup releases and skincare but over time her brand evolved to be much more than that.
Today, Estee runs her own podcast and discusses a wide-range of topics from business to relationships to tips on leading a healthier lifestyle. The common thread throughout each episode is a focus on the female voice. Estee invites a range of women onto her show to share about their expertise and engage in conversation on topics relevant to us all.
What I Know Now by Amelia Liana
Amelia Liana did something really remarkable when she endured a horrible breakup and life change in 2019, she started What I Know Now. And that’s why from its very inception it’s one of the most inspiring podcasts I subscribe to. She took her pain and used it to create something positive that would help a lot of other women out there.
Season one of What I Know Now was focused on breakup and heartache. Season two is focused on dating. Both of those are subjects I’m not really all that interested in at the moment but I find myself looking forward to this podcast each week because of the wonderful guests that Amelia brings on and their enlightening conversations. There’s a lot of discussion that will provide value to you in all areas of your life, from romantic relationships to professional relationships to the most important relationship at all: the one with yourself.
Leave Your Mark by Aliza Licht
Odds are, you’re not a stranger to Aliza Licht’s much acclaimed book Leave Your Mark. She pioneered the fashion PR strategy on social media and has shared game changing advice that’s elevated women’s careers around the globe. The Leave Your Mark podcast picks up where the book leaves off and continues to share more relevant professional advice from leading guest experts.

Channel Your Influence by Diane Taha
Of all the inspiring podcasts on this list, Channel Your Influence is my newest discovery. Diane Taha leads the blog Style Context and I’ve followed her on Twitter for quite some time. Her podcast launched in February 2020 and already I can tell she’s going to be producing some really valuable and inspiring content for us all. She invites fellow content creators and business owners on to share their experiences as well as guests to discuss topics healthy living and even The Bachelor!
The Influencer Podcast by Julie Soloman
As much as I loathe the term influencer, there’s no denying how much I truly enjoy this podcast! I cringe a bit when Julie announces the name of the podcast the intro of each episode, but she provides valuable and inspiring information that content creators or business owners of any kind can relate to. (No, you don’t just have to be an Instagram star.)
Topics range from growing a team to pitching in business and developing a strong mindset that will help you get ahead. She also invites successful business owners and content creators onto the podcast to share their insight and engage in conversations on industry trends.
Heroine by Majo Molfino
If intimate and honest conversations with female CEOs, best-selling authors and other successful professionals in the workspace sounds appealing – Heroine is the place for you! Each episode offers relaxed conversations that will often give you new perspective and leave you feeling inspired.
Season 9 of Heroine just kicked off in February 2020 and Majo Molfino is busily preparing to release her own book, so now is truly the perfect time to discover the podcast and get inspired by the large library of past episodes on a range of relevant topics. From finding clarity and forging your own career path to discussions on leadership and setting boundaries, there are a lot of valuable discussions on demand that will help you gain perspective.
