Sit back, relax and prepare to enjoy the 23 BEST PFW runway looks of the Fall 2020 season.
Following the festivities in Milan, the Fall 2020 runways headed over to Paris for the grand finale of fashion month!
With a jam-packed schedule that ranged from classic mainstays such as Balenciaga to modern newcomers like Off-White, the Parisian runways were as diverse as they were eye-catching. We also continued to see new creative direction take hold at several of the biggest fashion houses.
Clare Waight Keller is settling in nicely at Givenchy. Hedi Slimane is a seemingly great match for Celine. Bouchra Jarrar continues to put Lanvin back on the map. And then there’s Anthony Vaccarello, who was seemingly born to design for Yves Saint Laurent! On the flip side, new creative direction at Chanel seems to be struggling and Christian Dior fell behind the pack as Maria Grazia Chiuri continued the same tired narrative as season’s past.
Onto the Best PFW Runway Looks
Putting together a list of the best PFW runway looks is always a bit of a struggle. I flag and pin DOZENS of looks throughout the week’s festivities and always end up with a large library of favorites. The Fall 2020 runways in particular produced a whopping 120 favorite looks for me – and that was with me being selective.
To condense the list down, I did my best Miranda Priestly impression. I pursed my lips while closely dissecting what the Parisian FW2020 runways really had to offer. Ultimately, I carved out a collection of 23 slam-dunk looks! They’re each strong representatives of larger collections and themes that I really can’t wait to see on the fashion scene come September.
One thing is for certain: fall is going to be COLORFUL and full of texture this year! What a treat to look forward to.
