Oh hello, there! Couture Week is really cranking out the gowns this season, aren’t they? Bravo!
Today, I direct our attention to 10 Ralph & Russo couture gowns that I’m putting in my bank of looks I’d LOVE to see on the red carpet. Of course, if Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo (can you say, dream team?) would like me to wear one of their stunning creations, I’d be happy to oblige. As, I’m sure, we all would.
Bringing Ralph & Russo Couture to Life
For Spring 2017, Ralph & Russo couture “channeled the intersection between natural beauty and modern architecture.” Tamara and Michael are both true masters of design and seamlessly construct gowns that fuse well-structured gowns with romantic elements. Bringing our fairy tale dreams to live, sweeping botanical gowns virtually floated down the Parisian runway – adorned with crystal, metallic, fringe and frill.
In the past, Ralph & Russo couture gowns have received great praise and attention. In fact, their Spring 2016 collection garnered the most page views here on Dream in Lace of any other high fashion collection last year (see that post, here) and gowns appeared on major red carpets around the world. With a legacy of such greatness, it comes as no surprise that I was virtually holding my breath while reviewing the collection.
Fanfare aside, let’s get going! I present, SWOON-worthy gowns – complete with exquisite detailing – from the latest Ralph & Russo couture collection. As if they’re not stunning enough, Ralph & Russo also invites us into the atelier as the put the finishing details on these beautiful works of art.
Let’s give a big round of applause to Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo for another triumphant collection. If there’s anyone that can put me firmly in a spring state of mind, it is them and the Spring 2017 collection is a true delight!
