The Blonds hit the runways of New York Fashion Week with an energetic and colorful Fall/Winter 2016 Collection that proves once and for all, yes – blonds DO have more fun!
In 2008, The Blonds was founded – and since New York Fashion Week has been just that much more fun. At the reigns are co-founders David and Phillipe Blond, who share an infectious love of glamorous fashion with real pizzazz. Their collections are eccentric with a rebellious twist, and worn by the likes of Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Rihanna. Truly, it doesn’t get better than that…and in a world we where we all take things a bit too seriously, The Blonds bring welcomed levity and humor to the New York runways. As well as some damn good fashion, naturally.
On The Blonds’ menu for Fall/Winter 2016 we find bubble gum pink, dramatic silhouettes, fishnets, lively pops of sparkle and a whole lot of sass. David and Phillipe take us on a trip down the rabbit hole to explore a world of anarchy and glamour. These are clothes that make me smile. Clothes that make me want to let loose and maybe walk a little bit on the wild side.
The Blonds’ Fall 2016 collection is quite frankly, delicious and perfectly hits my sweet spot. It’s certainly the most lively of the fall collections and seems destined for pop star greatness. These are clothes you can have fun in. These are clothes you can make memories in.
I feel like The Blonds have designed a perfect game of Candy Land for Fall 2016. It’s refreshing and shakes up the status quo of overcoats, burgundy and black. The collection is perfectly accentuated by makeup by MAC Cosmetics as the perfect cherry on top.
