There’s nothing like a surprise package from Borghese, especially when it’s stocked full of gorgeous makeup for the new autumn season!
If 2015 has been one thing, it’s the year I discovered the masterful quality of Borghese eyeshadow. My collection has been booming, and now I have this gorgeous neutral palette to the mix. Borghese’s Eclissare Color Eclipse eyeshadow palette in ‘Torrid’ features sultry, cool tone browns. The 5-shades range from a matte, to satin to sparkly finish that will give you a lot to work with in crafting your eye look every morning.
Frankly, I just don’t wear enough cool-tone shadows, and these are so flattering with my hazel eyes.
Another eye addition is the AMAZING Borghese Eye Accento pencil! When I say amazing, I mean–this seriously glides on as smoothly as butter. And yet, while very smooth -it does manage to make a nice sharp line. You can use this eyeliner to crisply line your eyes or smudge out for a nice lived-in look. I know eyeliner isn’t something to typically get excited over, but boy am I glad I discovered this formula!
As if the eyeshadow and eyeliner weren’t enough, Borghese also introduced lucky ole’ me to there ColorStruck lipsticks. And, if there’s one thing I love in the world: it’s lipstick. I was sent the shades Edge, Swoon and Dare.
Edge: A soft, matte brown
Swoon: A shimmering champagne pink
Dare: A shimmering, ruby red
Now that we’re officially into the season of fall, these lipsticks will pair beautifully with the colors around us. I’ve also committed to doing ’31 days of lipstick’ again this October, and I’m excited to add three new options…as though I need more lipsticks 😉 (Follow me on Instagram for daily lipstick updates!)
Last but certainly not list, I finally get to try Borghese’s daily moisturizer! I’m literally always on the hunt for a great moisturizer, one that will top my love of Philosophy…and I have very high hopes for Borgese’s Protective Moisturizer. It’s a light texture, infused with Vitamins C and E to help detoxify the skin…and sounds totally up my alley. Stay tuned, review surely to come soon!
