My March beauty and makeup favorites list isn’t too long this month, but believe me when I say these are f-a-v-o-r-i-t-e-s! As in, at any given moment through the month of March I was wearing one, if not all, of the above. Best part, it required no shopping on my part! All of these guys have just been hanging around in my vanity waiting to be devoured…and boy did I devour them!
As well as Snapchat, The Black Keys and Netflix’s latest series: Bloodline!
Marc Jacobs Gel Highliner
It felt like Christmas once again when I got some serious use out of this eyeliner set in March. Marc Jacobs’ gel liners are beyond incredible, and if you’re yet to try them – you’re missing out. One surprise: while I already have a love affair with the highliner pens, it wasn’t till March that I discovered just how GREAT the black liner is. Hello new holy grail product!
Revlon Balm Stain in ‘Romantic’
Revlon and I aren’t always the best of friends, but when it comes to lip products – we’re tight. Another item I received around Christmas was the matte balm in XXX. It was gifted to me as a Taylor Swift-inspired red, but instead it comes off as a nifty orange. (Yes, I did just say nifty.) As we transition out of winter, my lips are still prone to chapness and I really appreciated just how moisturizing this is. Love!
Givenchy Jewelry
I don’t think I’ve shared this with you before, but I am a recovering Givenchy jewelry addict. I say recovering as I haven’t purchased anything in a while, but that didn’t stop me from rummaging through my collection all month long. Say what you will about Riccardo Tisci and his modern day love of Kardashians – but Givenchy as a whole makes fantastic jewelry pieces that last forever. I highly recommend you start scouring eBay to see what vintage pieces are out there. Love!
NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer
I back-burnered this cult favorite concealer in favor of trying new products, but in early March I decided to pick this up again and low-and-behold: it’s still fabulous. ICYMI: I did recently share a darn good drugstore dupe (here) that’s easier on the budget.
Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme Volumizing Mascara
Say what? Another forgotten favorite? Why yes! I vowed to start finishing opened mascaras before purchasing any more – and when I pulled out this longtime favorite from Estee Lauder I was reminded just how long my lashes can get. Seriously, this mascara is like eyelash extensions in a tube. Try it!
Estee Lauder Perfectionist Youth-Infusing Foundation
It hasn’t been too long since I last plugged this foundation, but yes – the love affair between me and Estee Lauder’s Perfectionist makeup is STILL going strong. I had a lot of long day-to-night days in the month of March, and this carried me right from work into events or nights out with ease. It also doesn’t hurt that this serum-infused makeup adds a boost to my morning moisturizer.
Bloodline
I fell hook, line and sinker in love with Netflix’s new series Bloodline this month! The show follows the Rayburn family, who run a successful resort in the Florida Keys. The cast is brilliant, with the likes of Chloe Sevingy and Sissy Spacek, but Ben Mendelsohn gives an Emmy-nomination worthy (at least) performance for his portrayal of Danny. Danny is the black sheep of the family, with a dark past, and even darker future…
SnapChat
It took me a minute to understand, but in March I was SnapChatting up a storm! I love seeing snippets of everyone’s day – and I’ve been cooking, working out, mud surfing (YES), dining and more on SnapChat. Definitely give me a follow @dreaminlace
What were you loving in March, dreamers?

I missed out on the gel liner set but got a sample during my trip to Paris so I’ll make sure to try that out soon I think!
