The Armani Prive Spring 2015 haute couture collection debuted this week in Paris and, for lack of a better word, it was MAJOR!

(Seriously, I think I’m in a fashion coma and in need of CPR.)

When it comes to the art of haute couture, few do it quite like Mr. Armani and the Armani Prive Spring 2015 collection continued to keep the bar very high!

It was a grand collection, featuring 67 looks — ranging from glamorous pantsuits and embellished jackets to a rather extensive and decadent range of evening wear. To me, it felt like the perfect continuation of the house’s Spring couture collection — which introduced a shimmering, soft blue palette.

For the Armani Prive Spring 2015 collection, the atelier widened the scope to include rich, royal blues alongside lavish embellished details such as the oversized satin bows that were threaded throughout.

The Academy Awards now sit just a few short weeks away and all eyes are on the haute couture circuit to see what gowns make their way to the red carpet on Hollywood’s most treasured night. Last year’s Best Actress Award winner Cate Blanchette is an Armani ambassador and very likely to wear something from the Armani Spring 2015 couture collection on the Oscar red carpet.

Blanchett chose not one but TWO selections during awards season last year and with their close relationship continuing, the question looming int he air is what will she choose for this season.
