Let’s all take a moment to think how great it would be to walk down the runway with Cara DeLevingne. I mean, she is maybe the ultimate it girl of the moment right. Beautiful and endearing, with quirky and silly sense of humor. Put her in any look and I’m bound to love. Put her in Topshop and I’m bound to REALLY love it.
What’s great about designs like Topshop walking the runways of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week is it puts accessible fashion along side the high high fashion intended for the elusive top 1% of the world. It’s practical, while still being a lot of fun – both to wear and to look at!
For Spring 2015, Topshop Unique sees a whole lot of color and sport. Generally, the collection reminds me quite a bit of previous designs from Tommy Hilfiger, but who cares if it’s a repeat? Recycling good fashion is still yielding good fashion right?
But whether you’re heading on or off the tennis courts or strutting the sidewalks downtown, TopShop Unique wants you to be as comfortable as you are eye-catching. And to be a bit more exciting, finishing things off with a deep berry/red lipstick. It’s refreshing, isn’t it? When a spring collection shows no signs of florals or pastels. I mean, we all know what Miranda Priestly’s thoughts on those trends are:
So basically, the absence of all things conventional makes this collection a whole lot of fun and one I look forward to seeing all over the place this spring. Topshop is definitely on a bit of a tear at the moment – and it’s good to see the gravy train will keep on moving.
Are you too in love with this collection? Which pieces do you most covet for your spring wardrobe?
