An easy and fast Fall Makeup Look to get you out the door in a snap!
Hello there, beautiful! I hope you’re enjoying the arrival of the autumn season like me. To celebrate, I thought I’d share with you my go-to easy and FAST fall makeup look. This one will help you get pulled together and out the door in a snap.
Some autumn mornings, I like to take my time while doing my makeup. Other days? I hit the snooze button a couple times too many and need to put something together really quickly for the workday. It’s the later situation we’re dealing with today — makeup that’s fast, but beautiful.
My Easy and Fast Fall Makeup Look
In total, this easy and fast makeup look takes me about 7-10 minutes – depending how quickly I’m moving that morning. It also features an array of my favorite makeup bits at the moment, both new and old. There’s my long beloved Lancome foundation that’s essentially bullet-proof as well as the new lipstick from Dior I can’t stop wearing.
Generally speaking, this makeup look creates a radiant glow to the skin while celebrating classic autumnal tones like Cranberry. There are a total of ten steps that anyone could pull off, no matter what level of skill you have in the makeup application department. With no more ado, let’s get into it!
Step I: Lancome Teint Idole Foundation (Shop)
My go-to fast fall makeup look begins with the powerhouse Teint Idole foundation from Lancome. What I love MOST about this foundation is it doesn’t require a primer. It’s incredibly long lasting and beautiful on the skin when worn on its own, making it an essential favorite of mine for those days when I’m trying to get out the door quickly. The foundation also stays put ALL day long – with no touchups required. Miracle product? Yes! I’d say so.
Step 2: Lancome Teint Ultra Wear Concealer (Shop)
Atop my foundation, I apply concealer under my eyes and at the edges of my nose. If you have any blemishes, go ahead and top those off as well. In general, you can use whatever concealer you like – but I’ve been enjoying Lancome’s quite a bit lately. It works hand-in-hand well with the Teint Idole foundation, has great coverage, does not crease and also has phenomenal lasting power.
Step 3: Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder Glow (Shop)
Next up? Setting powder! I’m always a fan of translucent powders that let your foundation sing. To add a bit more radiance, I really enjoy the Glow version of Laura Mercier’s cult favorite loose setting powder. It creates a beautiful and natural lit-from-within look to the complexion, without getting too heavy or in the “highlight” area. It’s also subtle enough you can wear it all over your face.
Step 4: Dior Diorshow Pump n’ Brow Mascara (Shop)
Be it for this super fast fall makeup look or any other day, I’ve been loving the new Pump n Brow mascara from Dior. It brushes in and fills out your brows so quickly!
Step 5: Lancome Hypnose Eyeshadow Stick in Quartz Rose (Shop)
Next I move onto one of the superstar products of this fast fall makeup look: Lancome’s cream eyeshadow stick in the shade ‘Quartz Rose’. It’s a beautiful cranberry shade that is perfect for the autumn season. To apply, I tackle one eye at a time to give myself enough time for blending. I brush this all over my lid and up towards the brow bone, then blend out with a MAC 217 brush. I also use the shadow stick to line my lower lash line and smudge out with a flat shader brush from Sigma.
Step 6: MAC Cosmetics Cranberry Eyeshadow (Shop)
Next up is MAC’s Cranberry eyeshadow. This could be used as an alternative to the Lancome shadow stick as well as in addition, depending on what you have hanging out in your vanity. The powder shadow works great atop the cream shadow to set things in place, but also works really well on its own if you need.
Step 7: ELF Cosmetics Mineral Infused Mascara (Shop)
One thing I’ve worked out in crafting this fast fall makeup look and any fast makeup look in general? Liquid eyeliner slows me down. So today, we’re skipping that and going straight into mascara. I’ve mentioned this love from ELF a number of times because of how well it lengthens and separates your eyelashes. It’s also only $4 a tube — a steal!!
Step 8: The Balm Matte Bronzer (Shop)
To add a little warmth to my complexion, I then move onto bronzer. I continue to love The Balm’s “Take Me Home” bronzer, but really any will do. I add this to the edges of my face as well as down the outer lines of my nose to add in some definition.
Step 9: Dior Glow Face Palette (Shop)
These days, I’m having fun skipping blush — so next I go straight into highlight. This new glow palette from Dior is gorgeous and I have fun playing around with the different shades. For this look in particular, I wore the peach highlight atop my check bones.
Step 10: Dior Ultra Care Lipstick in 480 (Shop)
To top off this easy and fast fall makeup look., I reach for my FAVORITE lipstick of the moment: Dior’s Ultra Care lippie in the shade Fleur Bleue. I have a more in depth post coming soon about this new line of lipsticks as a whole, but for starters? I’ll say the formula is incredibly rich and creamy!
The shade 480 in particular is a favorite of mine because of how versatile it truly is. It’s the perfect everyday pink/coral shade that you can stow in your purse to wear with any outfit you choose. It’s also quite long-lasting, no lip pencil required.
And there you have it! The super easy and fast fall makeup look I’ve been turning to again and again this season.
Some days, us ladies have the time and desire to play around with fancy eyeshadow palettes and contouring. Other days? We just want something that’s simple, quick and effective.
If you do recreate this makeup look for yourself, please please let me know! I’d love to hear how you get on with it. Go ahead and tag ‘dreaminlace’ in a photo should you share on social media as well. And please know, you don’t necessarily have to use all the products I shared today. While they are fantastic and all come with my recommendation, you’re also welcome to use whatever similar products you have hanging out in your makeup collection. The goal is to just have fun creating something with the beautiful colors of the autumn season!
As always, thank you so much for reading!
