HAPPY EASTER WEEKEND! Don’t know about you, but I’m excited to jump into a long four day weekend. Let’s spill on our weekend plans and all of the best Easter sales.
At long last, Easter Weekend is here! With Easter running so late this year, it felt like we might never get here – and yet here we are, with a beautiful forecast for the holiday weekend.
What are Your Plans for Easter Weekend?
Lucky me has BOTH Good Friday and the Monday after Easter off, so it’s going to be a gloriously long, four-day weekend for me. No doubt, I’m sure to indulge in more than my fair share of jelly beans (Psst: Jolly Ranger and Starburst jelly beans are VEGAN) and I’m determined to finally dig all the sweaters out of my closet for a big clear out. Our local conservatory also has their annual butterfly exhibit this month and I’m planning a visit to that on Monday, in hopes of dodging some of the major crowds.
Of course, we can’t talk Easter weekend plans without addressing the big elephant in the room: Easter Brunch! My mind has been wavering back and forth between making Cinnamon Rolls and PANCAKES all week. Would it be absolutely criminal to have both? Oh sure, I’ll likely fall into a sugar coma but it could be totally worth it.
If you’re on the hunt for a tasty vegan treat you can quickly whip up for your Easter brunch, my super simple vegan cupcakes are sure to satisfy even the strongest sweet tooth. I’ve made a couple batches of these over the last few weeks and have really enjoyed having a steady supply of cupcakes on hand. I mean, why not?
Easter Weekend Shopping
One of my annual Easter weekend traditions is doing a little bit of shopping. By now, winter is safely in the rear-view mirror and I’m ready to invest in new springtime blouses and dresses. This season, I’m ALL about ruffles and bell sleeves and – much to my delight – the stores are LOADED with both right now.

Okay, let’s be honest for a moment.
This year’s Easter Weekend Sales are kind of blech – wouldn’t you agree? There’s not a single major sale that popped up in my inbox, making me think retailers are saving it for Memorial Day Weekend. Even if none of these sales interest you, you might want to consider making a trip to your local outlet mall, though. Last Easter, I virtually CLEANED UP at the J.Crew and LOFT outlet stores. It was like a real life adult Easter basket!
