The KVD Beauty Good Apple foundation has created a lot of buzz online but is it as good as TikTok says?

I am super excited to talk to you about the newest KVD Foundation because it has made my heart sung over the last several months! It has stepped up to the plate where few foundations have been able to before.
Now, I don’t know about you but I have a deeply embedded sunspot on my left cheek that is the biggest pain in the arse to conceal!
It’s defiant to even the strongest foundation or concealer – always managing to break through at some part of the day despite my wishes for it to not be made public. It’s like a petulant child demanding attention and the least opportune times.
And so, naturally, when a full-coverage foundation hits the market I catch myself questioning if it would manage to do the trick and hide my pesky sunspot until I wash off my makeup at the end of the night.
After applying foundation and the rest of my makeup in the morning, I’ll look in the mirror and think: I’m all good!
Cut to lunchtime. Then mid-afternoon. Then dinnertime. All of these are milestones and touch points throughout the day where I’ll determine if I need to top up my dreaded dark spot with several dabs of concealer.
But I have good news!
KVD Beauty’s “Good Apple” foundation has managed to do what few foundations have done before and for that reason I’m shouting from the rooftops for anyone with concerns they’d like to conceal to give it the ole college try.
KVD BEAUTY GOOD APPLE FOUNDATION
SHADE RANGE: 40 Options
Currently, the KVD Beauty Good Apple foundation is available in a healthy 40 shades with varying undertones to hopefully provide everyone with a perfect (or near-perfect) match.
KEY INGREDIENTS
- QUINCE LEAF EXTRACT: Soothes and repairs stressed or damaged skin while reducing signs of inflammation
- APPLE EXTRACT: Hydrating and prevents premature signs of aging
SOFT, DEMI-MATTE FINISH
I’m always a bit weary that full-coverage foundations will be overly drying on my normal-to-combo skin so tend to go very light when using any powder to sit the product. The Good Apple foundation is one that those with dry skin will want to reach for a primer when using but there is a soft radiance to the finish that’s flattering and yet the product does a nice job controlling shine as the day wears on.
FULL-COVERAGE
Freckles? Sun spots? Blemishes? Be gone! All manage to disappear with just one layer of the KVD Beauty Good Apple foundation is truly a full-coverage one yet feels miraculously lightweight on the skin.
It conceals my most pesky sunspot with ease and the coverage does not fade – lasting all day while remaining comfortable on the skin.
HOW TO USE
As a full-coverage foundation, definitely start with less and build up. Start with one pump and blend from the center of your face working out — adding more in areas where needed.
IS IT SUITABLE FOR EVERYDAY USE?
My skin has a somewhat complicated with full-coverage foundations. Favorites like MAC’s Studio Fix Fluid will always be staples in my makeup collection but when worn on a daily basis tend to break me out. So I was a bit nervous to put to the test how many days I could go wearing the KVD Beauty Good Apple foundation before a breakout would appear on my chin (where it usually happens.)
But in the end? I ran into no such issue! Both worn with and without a primer I managed to skate by wearing the foundation day in and day out with any skincare concerns. Of course, everyone’s skin is different so it’s possible it could cause breakouts when worn daily for you — so I’d start by trying this out every other day to see how well your skin tolerates it.
