To debut her Spring/Summer 2017 collection, Lela Rose hosted a runway luncheon at New York Fashion Week that was goals!
If presentation is key, I dare so no one nailed it quite as perfectly as Lela Rose. When it came time to unveil her Spring/Summer 2017 collection at New York Fashion Week, she expanded the runway into a chic ladies luncheon that captured the essence of the designs beautifully.
Held at the Cafe Altro Paradiso in Soho, guests watched models stroll down the runway from a beautiful seated lunch that was the picture of spring. Decorated with flowers and a tablescape that would make Sandra Lee proud, the Spring collection was truly in its element.
Filled with stunning floral details and vibrant colors for spring, Lela Rosereally embodied a romantic elegance this season. As other designers have clung to more contemporary looks, she reveled in the classics with demure looks that are perfect for your afternoon lunchons or to carry you into evening.
I am also a big fan of the beauty look that was created by Mary Kay Cosmetics. Hats off to them for creating a makeup look that eloquently fits the vibe of the collection.
Backstage:
Quite honestly, I adore each and every look of the Lela Rose Spring/Summer 2017 collection. They make me cringe at the thought of our days growing shorter and winter quickly approaching. May we all enjoy our summer dresses and florals while we can!
Here are some of my favorite looks from the runway that I want in my closet, asap!
