Nothing gives me life quite like a Nordstrom sale. Seriously. As soon as that email drops, I’m hunting down Nordstorm.com like a piranha. And with fall still at its peak, it seems like a gift from the fashion gods to have swanky fall/winter items (hello, boots anyone?) up for grabs at a fraction of the price. Thank you, Nordstrom…you perfect, beautiful store you!
It felt like torture. Nordstrom‘s fall sale opened this morning, but I was rudely detained at work for an eternity. It was an episode of Orange is the New Black, without any of the fun…and spreadsheets instead of kitchen work. Cut to 7 pm when I’m Nascar-ing my way home in the darkness (boo to daylight savings) for some hardcore browsing. Fall. Fashion. Sale. Let’s do this!
With a side of red wine, I set out to browse the autumn goodness…and Nordstrom certainly did not hold back this season. In fact, the Fall Sale is so large that it will take days to thoroughly burrow through it all. Being the gal pal that I am, I flagged items I think are WORTH your attention. From Marc by Marc Jacobs boot heaven, to handbags, dresses and some edgy Rebecca Minkoff jewelry, it’s a refined list that is only a *brief* overview of everything available!

If I’m being honest, I love shopping for fall infinitely more than any other season. You’ve got boots, decorative tights, warm colors and a whole lot of texture. There’s also the added perk of being able to enjoy your clothes in the fall, before winter rolls along and I’m fighting back tears and frostbite in lace tights and slipping on ice in adorable and fetch booties. Fashion of function, people.
Well…until I get home and all that goes out the window. In winter I definitely go into hibernation mode and plan to take full advantage of the lounge wear and sleepwear aplenty in Nordstrom’s sale. I feel like I need a total overhaul on my pajama collection. Step up my game! You know, so I’m ready for my next Netflix binge.
