It’s very likely that Louise Pentland’s Life with a Sprinkle of Glitter is the cutest, most wonderful gem of a book…ever.

In case you haven’t yet met her, Louise Pentland is the lovable gal who has taken the internet by storm as Sprinkle of Glitter. Her popular blog and YouTube channel are major successes, as she invites you into her heart and home to share her bits of wisdom and infectious warm personality with the world. Louise is the first “YouTuber” that really caught my attention, not because of the beauty or fashion bits she was talking about – but because she’s a warm, genuine spirit that radiates through the camera, as though she’s giving you a big squishy hug.

And so, it was no surprise when Louise penned a book that I was on a mission to get it. Oh, yes – “YouTubers” aplenty have book releases, but none became ‘Must Read’ for me until Louise’s gem Life with a Sprinkle of Glitter hit bookshelves. In my mind, the book would be brilliant. In reality, it is so much more.

Crafted unlike any book I’ve read before, Life with a Sprinkle of Glitter is a true treasure – loaded with bits of wisdom and inspiration from Louise herself. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a book that better embodies the author’s spirit. From beauty and fashion tips, to managing bullies, your online life, setting up house and the gift of kindness – Louise sprinkles her signature splash of joy on every topic under the sun. It’s like a “how to” book, without the boring and mundane droning of how to…

And why should it not be, as Louise has always carved her path to success as genuinely as possible…sharing her highs and her lows openly with pure strength of heart and character. There’s something so warm and inviting about Louise, and how honestly she opens up about her ups and downs – effortlessly navigating from tips on the best lipsticks to tales of embarrassment (like dating horror stories) that will have you laughing out loud with ease.

It was important to me to take a moment to share how much I truly love Louise’s ‘Life with a Sprinkle of Glitter’ – as it’s one of the most gratifying and memorable reading experiences I’ve had. From cover to cover, I thoroughly enjoyed this treasure of a book, and I know I’ll be coming back to it through the years if ever I need a pick me up. Bonus? I also happen to think it will make one fantastic gift for any female in your life, no matter what her age.
