And we’re off! New York Fashion Week is in full swing with the Fall/Winter 2015 Collections hitting the runways for the LAST time at the Lincoln Center! But screw talks of moving, let’s focus on more important things…such as the latest in genius from BCBG Max Azria‘s Creative Officer Lubov Azria. For Fall 2015, BCBG is going decidedly…tribunal. Saddle up!
One things for certain, day 1 of NYFW forecasts tunics to be a BIG thing for Fall 2015. And who’s complaining? Clothes you can move around in, without worrying about sucking your stomach in after a hefty lunch? Sold!
BCBG Max Azria Fall/Winter 2015 brought the Aztecs to the runway, a tribunal and South Western runway that featured flowing winter whites, fringe and some obviously killer coats. I couldn’t escape Valentino vibes, making me think Lubov Azria is as high on their Bohemian romance as I am. #Twinsies
Though of the same cloth, BCBG did add their own signature twist. Movement is always a focal point on the BCBG Max Azria runway and the flowing tunics and shirt dresses serenaded the runway with flare. The fall collection bypassed the maxi dresses featured in Spring, instead raising the hemlines to knee length – perfect for accentuating some killer knee-high leather boots.
Also, women can rejoice because embracing the cowl neck is BACK! I think we all agree this is one comforting trend to look forward to.

I love tucking hair inside a cowl or turtle neck as warm. It’s such a subtle thing, but a great look. xoxo
