Sometimes a collection comes along that makes me take great pause. Roland Mouret Resort 2015 is such a collection. With cool-girl lines that channel Preen Spring 2014 – but with a cooler palette of turquoise and orange. Add in a look or two of artful origami-esque tops and skirts and I’m 100% on board. To boot, it’s a collection that celebrates long lines. And, as a taller girl myself – I’m always appreciative of a long silhouette.
I just really love how succinct this collection is. It’s designed with such a precise vision it’s basically razor sharp. And while big names like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Oscar de la Renta, and Dior have all produced supreme Cruise collections this year – the one that thus far resonates the most with me is this by Roland Mouret.
Oh how I wish to saunter into the office next fall in something remotely as cool-girl as this. They bring fun to 9-5 in a way that’s delicious and inspiring. Who says life before happy hour has to be dull? 😉
