From a must-have toner to a drugstore staple, meet the most repurchased beauty products I can’t live without.

Last night I was making my way through my beauty routine when I had a thought. I so often spend time chatting about and reviewing new things here on DreaminLace (which is something I truly enjoy), but I also have a lineup of favorites I’ve purchased again and again and AGAIN!
I’m talking about products I love so much that I make sure to always have a backup waiting in the wings so I never have to go without. (Last year a must-have powder from Pat McGrath was backordered and I seriously learned my lesson!)
As I sat rounding everything up at my vanity I realized that I actually have so many beloved favorites that I’ve decided to separate the makeup out for a future post (so stay tuned for that). But to start, I wanted to rundown the most repurchased beauty products in my collection that help my skin stay in tip-top form as well as a haircare gem (because I wasn’t really sure where else to plop this one but I do love it so).
These most repurchased beauty products are the ones I’d take with me to a remote desert island that doesn’t have a Sephora in easy driving distance (or any store, really). They’re the products that come with my highest of recommendation and I’ll be devastated if any are ever discontinued!
*fingers crossed that never happens*
Meet My Most Repurchased Beauty Products
LANCER ADVANCED RETINOL TREATMENT
For years, I’d been circling the block again and again trying to find my “perfect” serum. There were many I really did enjoy but none that were the gold standard! Then I discovered Lancer’s Advanced Retinol Treatment serum and I was HOOKED. I previously shared a full rundown on why this serum is the #1 anti-aging secret in my skincare routine but suffice to say… it’s fantastic!
OLE HENRIKSEN DARK SPOT TONER
Ironically while this is most definitely one of my most repurchased beauty products, it’s not because of its namesake. Dark spots are super annoying and while I agree the Ole Henriksen toner is highly effective at helping them fade — the reason I fell so particularly in love with the Dark Spot Toner is because of how its AHA-rich formula completely transformed the texture of my skin. I’ve used this religiously every single night since its launch in December 2018 and I can’t even tell you how many bottles I’ve gone through at this point. It’s a keeper!
Aveda Pure Abundance Style Prep
Aveda haircare products in general are my favorite but I do bounce around between different shampoos and styling products. The one I use without fail EVERY time I style my hair? The Pure Abundance Style Prep. It gives a nice amount of lift and volume but in a weightless formula that doesn’t make my fine hair fall completely flat. It also has a fantastic natural fragrance that is oh so pleasant in the morning!
Aveda Toning Mist
While I love the Ole Henriksen toner for nighttime, the AHAs make it a little too intense for use both day and night. So in the morning — I rely on the gentler Aveda Toning Mist. Its formulated with white oak, witch hazel and peppermint as a mild astringent and it’s the perfect product for awakening my skin in the morning. It’s both one of the most repurchased beauty products in my collection but also the one I’ve been using the longest. Probably somewhere around 10 years now!!
Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil
My sensitive skin is a huge fan of the Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil because it doesn’t cause irritation like other Vitamin C products. I apply two drops of this nightly after the Lancer serum and reap the rewards of a brightened complexion while preventing hyperpigmentation and defending against signs of aging. Its also light enough that you can wear it in the daytime as well — but be sure to wear an SPF with it.
Caudalie Instant Detox Mask
Face masks are such a wonderful way to treat my skin to extra pampering but I have to admit – I’m not always the most patient with them. That’s why the Caudalie Instant Detox Mask has become not only one of my most repurchased beauty products but the mask I use the most! You can wear this for 10-15 minutes if you like or just 5 minutes for a quick boost. It clarifies my skin and leaves more pores feeling refreshed!
CLINIQUE MINERAL SPF 50 SUNSCREEN
Like you, caring for my skin is important to me and that starts with protecting it at all cost. So obviously a daily SPF is a necessity! I’ve worked through several options – including different ones from Clinique – but it’s this one that sits best beneath my makeup. I apply this in the morning before my moisturizer, massaging it into my full complexion and down the neck while taking pleasure in just how NON-greasy it is on my skin. Much appreciated!
CeraVe Moisturizing Cream
Last, but certainly not least, is the drugstore superhero that I fondly refer to as the “Motherload” as its a product I apply literally EVERYWHERE in nighttime routine. In the winter months I average around a tub a week as it’s truly the most effective way of keep my skin hydrated from head-to-toe during the cold and dry conditions. In the summer, a little bit goes longgggg way. It’s truly a skincare savior and most definitely one of my MOST repurchased beauty products.
