Let’s discuss C.Booth and their miracle worker body butters and lotions. Proof that fantastic skincare at an affordable price does exist. Your #1 winter skincare problem, solved!
Some of my favorite beauty discoveries have come right out of the beauty aisles of my local Marshall’s and TJ Maxx. That’s where I first discovered C.Booth – and from there, an addiction was born.
My first C.Booth discovery? Their Lemon Sugar body lotion. I found a bottle lingering on a beauty shelf at Marshall’s and it sounded simply too divine to ignore. This was last winter, when the temperatures averaged around 10 degrees and I welcomed any burst of summer in my life…even in the form of citrus body lotion. As it turns out, the lotion didn’t just please me…it made me deliriously happy. Who knew a body lotion could inspire true feelings of love, but I was sold.
Knowing I couldn’t guarantee C.Booth being in-stock at Marshall’s, I did some research online and discovered Ulta carries their full range of bath and body products. From body scrubs to body butters, it’s a diverse range that all rings in at record prices.
Four Products in One?
C.Booth’s body lotions come with some pretty hefty claims – to exfoliate, hydrate, nourish and firm all in one product. Seems a bit ‘too good to be true’, doesn’t it?
Well, I can’t testify to the “exfoliation” properties, as I typically apply the lotion to freshly moisturized skin. I can vouch for the hydrating and nourishing properties. Right now, it’s an arctic dessert outdoors and my skin is, in a nutshell, fighting off a meltdown. The weapon, holding it together? C.Booth lotion. Not only does it give you a mental vacation when you breath it in, it also really has gumption when it comes to hydrating your winter skin. In fact, I’ve loved the lotion so much I’ve become a walking/talking ambassador (unsponsored) singing its praises.
What can I say? A great lotion at a great price is near impossible to find. But, C.Booth sells this large bottle at a miraculous $9.99, which is a complete steal!
I’ve always been a fan of a good body butter. But, I admit, I’m pretty picky. Turns out, the ‘body butter‘ market is filled with cheap knockoffs that does virtually nothing to help my skin. In fact, many of them only contribute to dry skin because of their use of heavy fragrance.
When out and about, I stopped by the closest Ulta to snag another bottle of my favorite Lemon Sugar body lotion. Turns out, though, when picking up another bottle of the Lemon Sugar lotion, I thought it seemed like a really great idea to branch out and try the body butters. If nothing else, I could cough it up as research. Turns out, I didn’t have to go back on my original expectations at all.
And so, it was there on the spot that I purchased C.Booth‘s Italian Olive Oil body butter. Yes, I admit, the name isn’t my favorite – but when partnering with a local school who- which admittedly doesn’t sound all that great, but fortunately I decided to put it to the sniff test and the rest, as they say, is history. Recently I had a major death in the family, requiring four days away in a very small town in Indiana. It was an emotional weekend and when packing my bag, I wanted to bring something that would keep my skin fully moisturized, even among all the tears.
