Turn in dreams into reality with a goal tracking journal that celebrates your biggest ambitions!
Hello, there – my fellow dreamer! Today I’m sharing something that will hopefully make it a lot easier for you to stay on top of your goals. Because we all know just how easy it is to go off track!
Life loves to pull us in several directions with ups and downs like we’re winding our way through the Big Thunder Mountain rollercoaster at Disney World. Each year, month and even week we enter with plans of what we’d like to accomplish but that ever familiar bustle of day-to-day life just loves to veer us off course. Then we have that face palm moment like “Oh yea, I forgot to xyx.”
Tired of living life this way I started a daily habit last fall to better maintain my focus.
I took to sitting down each morning with a piping hot cup of strong coffee, a pen and a blank journal. Inside, I’d fill a page while practicing daily gratitude and naming five blessings bringing good into my life. (Big or small!) I then jotted down ten goals for both my immediate and longterm futures.
This practice of forcing myself to set intentions every day and reiterating my goals, however repetitive they may be, helped me enter each day with a better mindset. The lists also kept me moving forward at a time when it felt like everything had come to a crashing halt.
The Goal Tracking Journal
Several months after drafting my own goal tracking journal in the blank pages of a notebook, I started wanting one with pre-made lists setup and just waiting to be filled in each day.
And so – I designed and had one printed for myself!
After additional time using my self-made goal tracking journal on a daily basis, I got thinking how it might be of use to the community at large. After all, who doesn’t love a good worksheet? So I went ahead and self-published the goal tracking journal on Amazon so you too can easily complete a daily gratitude exercise while staying on top of your ambitions.
Manifestation is no doubt a hot topic these days and while I’m not an expert in that realm – I DO believe in the importance of writing you goals out by hand. I also believe in the importance of revisiting your goals again and again on the journey to turning them into reality.
The Daily Exercise
Each page of the journal is designed for you to practice gratitude while also setting daily intentions that will help you stay focused on your goals.
STEP 1: GRATITUDE
Be it a promotion, your health or merely the sun shining – list five things you are grateful for. Practicing gratitude is good for the soul and helps put you in a positive mindset!
STEP 2: GOALS
List out ten goals. From launching your own business to putting the finishing touches on a project, remind yourself on what you’d really like to accomplish. And yes – you may absolutely repeat the same goals again and again until they come to fruition.
I like to start big and then work my way down to a small goal… such as getting a good workout in that day.
STEP 3: YOUR IMMEDIATE GOAL
Refine your list of goals by choosing one you are going to achieve first.
