Happy Memorial Day weekend to all of my fellow American dreamers! While I can scarcely believe Memorial Day is already upon us, I’m ready to fully embrace a long weekend. Don’t you feel in need of summer a bit more than usual this year? Or is that just me… *wink*

To celebrate the kick-off of summer, I thought gallivanting around in this Who What Wear x Target sundress celebrated the occasion quite nicely. It’s perfect for picnics and cookouts, dontcha think? It also makes me feel a bit like a modern day Betty Draper, and if you know how much I love Mad Men…that’s a good thing! Rosebud of course is tagging along to celebrate as well. She’s always down for a party!

For my Memorial Day weekend I hope to catch some sun and RELAX. Be it natural or faux, I’m definitely in need of a little summer sun. I’m also hoping to make a bigger dent in my summer reading list (did you catch that post?) and…completely devour season three of Bloodline on Netflix. The Rayburn family drama is seriously next level and if the weekend forecast has you down, I highly suggest you check them out. 

(Netflix is ALSO dropping season 5 of House of Cards on Monday. Do they not want us to leave our houses? Makes you wonder…sneaky, Netflix!)

I also think I’ll be whipping up a batch of my favorite vegan pasta salad, which is obviously the PERFECT addition to any Memorial Day celebration. If you like, feel free to add feta cheese…but I prefer without.
