Day 3 of Milan Fashion Week has arrived upon us so quickly in this swift September month of fashion. How fabulous September 2013 has been thus far. But in this month of textiles and lace, we’ve yet to taste the rustic charm of a bohemian rhapsody until Etro took the spotlight with their signature paisley in a collection that’s the perfect combination of the country and city girl. The collection itself was birthed at the country home of Veronica Etro, where she revisited the vintage prints of 1940s look-books of the brand, started by her grandfather. You know what they say, what goes round is sure to come around again…and Veronica felt it was time to reintroduce the prints to today’s modern woman in this fantastic hybrid collection that will satisfy country and city gals alike.
Never one to shy a way from a bold color, these are my favorite pieces of the collection. But as a whole, this is definitely one of my favorites of this season. Each look begs to be looked at, but in an non-ostentatious way that’s inviting to the eye.
Plus, what better time to go Bohemian than summer when tight, heavy clothing is the furthest thing from your mind while sweltering in the summer heat. This is a collection that’s cool in every sense of the word.
What do you think of this collection? I hope you love it as much as I do!
