When it comes to a gift with purchase tote, NO ONE does it quite like Philosophy. Cyber Monday was no exception with a mother-load of skincare products in a shiny red tote awaiting me for a mere $75 purchase. I saw the available tote first thing in the morning before brushing off to work, and sadly assumed it would be swiftly sold out before the wee evening hours when I would return home. But, by a Christmas miracle it was still available come 8:30 pm and I immediately swooped up some standard favorites to assure a whole feast of goodies to come my way!
Now, I know this probably would’ve been much more useful to you BEFORE Cyber Monday – but I thought everything was too great not to share, in advance of next year’s Cyber Monday. Because it’s never too early to think of next year’s Christmas and when it comes to holiday go-tos, Philosophy really ought to be on your list.
First, I browsed around the website on the hunt for a Christmas gift for my mother, which I’m not going to share here. (You never know, she might be reading this!) But while on the lookout for that, I stumbled across a gift set of Philosophy’s Hope in a Jar skincare and I promptly added that to my cart for myself. The Hope in a Jar range is my true skincare staple, and one I always go back to after trying something new on a whim. I can never have too much of this stuff lying around and at such a reasonable price, the gift set was a must-have and a smart investment for skincare down the road.
The Hope for the Holidays gift-set includes the eye, day and night cream of the Hope in a Jar skincare range – and is the perfect gift for any lady in your life. When I think about great gifts to receive, I lean towards gifts I know I’d use. Skincare is an important part of every lady’s beauty routine and the Hope for the Holidays gift set is a great way to keep her moisturized through the cold days ahead.
Unfortunately the gift-set did sellout on Philosophy.com, but is still available online here at Sephora. As well, you might find this lingering around your local Sephora, Ulta or any other department store that sells Philosophy. I’m sure it’s out there somewhere!
Cinnamon Buns Shower Gel
If you’re unfamiliar with this tasty shower gel, allow me to gush for a minute. Cinnamon Buns is a great way to wake up in the morning and start your day off right. While I was saddened the lotion wasn’t available to pair with this, the shower gel is great in itself. It’s so fragrant and will fill your entire bathroom with the aroma of sweet cinnamon buns baking away in the oven. In the dull days of winter, who wouldn’t welcome such a delicious scent first thing in the morning?
Almond Glaze Shower Gel
At such a great price, I had to pick up a second gel for myself and 2014 being the year of the almond in my life – the Philosophy’s Almond Glaze shower gel felt like the best place to go. I have not yet used this so I can’t say much, but based off Philosophy’s track record I’m sure to love it. This also has a body creme available as well, if you’re thinking of a perfect gift set!
Like I said, the tote you got with your Philosophy purchases was truly divine this Cyber Monday. I kept thinking, are they for real with all this?
And now that I have everything in my possession, I finally believe that yes: they were real!
Purity is my ultimate favorite facial cleanser and something I simply cannot live without. So, I was quite pleased to receive and extra bottle to keep on standby. I use this gentle but thorough cleanser daily with my Clarisonic but also on a semi-regular basis to cleanse my makeup brushes. Purity does a really nice job of getting rid of the gunk without being too harsh or heavy on the skin. If you haven’t yet tried it, I highly suggest you pick up a bottle and put it to the test. You won’t regret it!
Of course, the fun didn’t stop there! Here’s everything else I received in my cute red tote!
As you can see, I’ve got a whole lot of Philsophy skincare to use up before I’ll be purchasing any other skincare lines. However, I’m actually completely new to the Miracle Worker range, so be prepared for a review on that. If I had to guess, I’d say it’s fantastic. What can I say? I guess I’m just a Philosophy kind of gal!
Did you do any Cyber Monday shopping for yourself?
