One of the biggest upsides to New York Fashion Week is the discovery of new, talented designers whose names you haven’t yet heard. Browsing the world of Instagram, I stumbled upon a gorgeous collection presented by Delpozo Sunday that was so light and dreamy it felt like a princess personified in fashion.
When viewing this collection, the name Dior kept popping in my head with the classic silhouettes, regal color palette and the textures. To be of Christian Dior caliber is definitely an achievement Delpozo should feel proud of. It’s hard to really capture that exact air of defined elegance. It’s elegant and it’s graceful, without going too far over the ledge into ‘romantic’ and ‘angelic’ territory. Dior has mastered the act of soft strength. Fashion for a strong woman, that is also a real lady.
Have you heard of Delpozo before? Because it rattles my brain how designs to elegant and ethereal could fall through the cracks of my expansive fashion knowledge. Regardless, I know the name now and it’s not one I’m soon to forget. Watch the full runway show here.
