Gucci, a name that is synonymous with glitz and luxury. So when it comes to bejeweled necklines, it’s not too shocking to see crystal craftsmanship that sparkles and dances light around the room like a crystal ball counting down to midnight in Time Square. Milan Fashion Week is the stomping ground of Gucci, and Fall 2014 began with a very minimal approach to fashion (or at least as minimal as Gucci gets). Mod, solid pastel dresses and peacoats floated down the runway before giving way to leather, crafted into crisp collars and chest plates. It was a fresh look for Gucci, one strong but with very little fuss.
Of course all leather detailing and monochrome washed away in favor of a more ‘glitzy’ option: the statement neckline. Forget a necklace when you can work with the entire neckline of a garment. These necklines are so shiny, sparkly and reflective – you could say they’re Edward Cullen personified. 😉
