Blogmas Day 14!
These must-have beauty products are all items that cause me to jolt a little when realizing they’re getting low. I then immediately add them to my shopping list to be replaced asap. In fact, most of these I will have waiting in the wings as to never truly be without! These are products I purchase again and again. Yes, I do use similar products from other brands, but these are the ones I consistently come back to. The best of the best!
There are certainly more products I repurchase that you won’t see here. These are the ones I currently am replacing and thought I’d bring you along on the ride 🙂 If you like this post, I’ll keep doing this so you can see more of the things I love enough to always have on hand.
M.A.C. Russian Red
I cannot live without this lipstick. Recently I lost mine and nearly immediately went out and repurchased it. This is my most worn, signature red and I honestly wear this at least once a week. Every girl needs to find a signature red lip, and this is mine. It’s divine!
M.A.C. Studio Fix Fluid in NC20
This is not my day-to-day foundation, as it is heavy and I don’t need this daily…but it is definitely a holy grail, go-to foundation on occasions when I want to feel extra beautiful. It has one of the best finishes you will ever see from a foundation and photographs so beautifully. I love the satin finish, not just in how it looks, but also in how it feels on my skin. I just feel beautiful when I wear this foundation and for that reason, I never am without it. If you’ve yet to try this, you’re missing out! It’s definitely a must-have beauty product!
M.A.C. Brush Cleanser
This is my favorite makeup brush spot-cleaner. I’ve tried cheaper alternatives from Ulta and Sally’s Beauty Supply, but none are as great to me as this. This is very gentle on your brushes, but also has strong cleaning power. Squirt this on your brush head and brush it out onto a towel or washcloth, and you’re good to go. I usually then dry my brushes over night but it does dry pretty quickly if you have to use this the same day.
Philosophy Field of Flowers Lotion
There are a lot of Philosophy products that are must-haves for me, including lotions…but this is definitely one of my favorites. Usually I shy away from heavy floral scents, but this one is somehow so cheery and bright. It makes me happy!
Philosophy Hope in a Jar Intensive Moisturizing Night Cream
I may dabble around when it comes to a day cream, but for a night cream: this owns my heart. I’ve purchased and repurchased this. In fact, I have another on the way from Philosophy as I type. It’s so rich and moisturizing. There’s also something really clean about their skincare. While they have scented bath products, their skincare is left pure and fragrance-free and I really like that.
Philosophy Eye Hope Anti-Aging Eye Cream
I live in fear of having crow’s feet around my eyes. Of all aging side effects, that is the one I dread the most. So I’m seriously religious about applying eye cream and this one is my favorite. I’ve tried several but this is the one I go back to time and again. It’s great and it lasts a long time.
Laura Mercier ‘Radiance’ Foundation Primer
Laura Mercier has several really great primers but this one is my absolute favorite. I just repurchased this for the fifth time. That says commitment! I like this because it almost has a serum-like effect so it’s really refreshing to use and doesn’t have any greasiness like some other primers. It’s very clean on the skin and definitely makes my makeup stay put longer. I love this stuff!
Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in ‘Light’
Once I found this concealer I stopped looking for another. It’s maybe not the heaviest coverage, but it works well enough for my needs. If you have severe acne or some other issue, I would look into a more full coverage concealer than this. But if you have moderate skin issues, this is perfect. I also like this one because it also works great as a highlighter. I put this under my eyes and down my nose quite often. It’s a great consistency and lasts pretty well as well. Love this concealer! I have lost count at how many of these I’ve purchased.
Caudalie Makeup Remover
I love to use this on days where I wear a lot of eye makeup. Soak this onto a cotton pad and hold over your eye for 5-10 seconds and all of your eyeliner, mascara and shadow will come right off. It’s such a lifesaver. Because the skin around your eye area is so sensitive and gentle, I hate when I have to scrub and scrub to get eye makeup off. This is much kinder on the skin and works like magic. You can also use this on your full face but I mostly love it for how it permeates right through my heaviest eye days 🙂
And that’s everything I’m currently running low on/replacing. What are the absolute must-have products of your beauty routine?
