I purchased the Stila In the Moment eyeshado palette ages ago and assumed this review already went up. But low and behold, when clearing out my pictures I found these stashed away in a forgotten corner of my ‘to blog about’ folder. Though forgotten on my laptop, I will say this palette has notbeen living in a forgotten nook of my vanity. Being that purple is my favorite color, this palette has been living very upfront and center in my life…right on my face. It’s been a few months now and I still love this palette every bit as much as I did when I first bought it and rushed to snap off these pictures. In fact, the more looks I discover and exponentially my love increases ten-fold.
November is the perfect time to talk about this very palette, as it would make the perfect Christmas gift for a loved one (or for yourself). As well, the palette really compliments autumn and winter looks nicely.
I love these Stila ‘In the…’ palettes. The color selections are supreme and quality is nearly untouchable. They also come with full sized eyeliners and while I don’t find that to be a requirement for an eyeshadow palette, in a rush it is very convenient. I’ve talked about my love for Urban Decay shadows on here, but I as a whole I enjoy these palettes more than the Naked palettes. I think the variety of looks you can create using these palettes are countless! Stila really matches colors together flawlessly. The shadows are all super pigmented and blend extremely well. Everything works hand in hand in these palettes. If you haven’t yet, definitely check them out!
Note: I also have a full review of the ‘In the Light’ palette.
Anyway, enough of my babbling. Here it is:
|These shadows are super pigmented! <3|
A near-white shimmer to be used in the inner corner of the eye or atop the brow bone as a highlight.
A soft, violet. Satin finish with a slight shimmer.
A true purple. Satin finish.
A deep purple with gray undertones. This is a satin finish with a soft shimmer of purple specks.I love using this dark purple to smoke out a purple eye.
A deep, jet black with slight shimmer. This is gorgeous worn as a liner and creates a beautiful smokey eye.
Matte, neutral shade. Perfect for blending.
Warm, light brown. Has a satin finish with soft specks of shimmer.
A very shimmery-gold. This goes beautifully over the very popular Maybelline Metallic Pomegranate 24Hr Eye Tattoo. Really nice for fall! This is probably my most used shade.
Another favorite of mine, this is a warm near-copper brown. It has a soft shimmer to it.
Smokey gray that is perfect for creating smokey eye looks. This also pairs beautifully with catalyst to make a lovely liner look.
